We are looking to fill a full-time position in our Carbondale or Boulder, Colorado office. Please note that Drupal ninjas are always welcome as contract, or contract to hire. We have been producing on the Drupal platform for some time now and our clients include ski resorts, large inventory rental agencies, and all manner of things in between. The work is interesting and the atmosphere is creative. We are 37 people strong and offer the advantages of being big enough, and small enough at the same time. Blue Tent is a full service, soup to nuts, digital marketing company. Core Duties/Responsibilities:
- Handle concurrent development on multiple web projects.
- Partner with a project manager to meet client goals and expectations.
- Be(come) a Drupal Ninja.
- Help web project managers understand projects and requirements from the development side.
- Code in html, css, javascript, php, and sql. Know Drupal, and how to bend it to your will.
Requirements:
- At least 2-3 years of demonstrable web development experience with standards-compliant xhtml, CSS, PHP, SQL, and javascript.
- Demonstrable experience with Drupal including theming, module building, best practices, and essential contrib modules.
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience in a client-facing position (e.g., account management, client management, web project manager) a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple assignments with effective resolution of conflicting priorities.
- Exceptional problem-resolution skills including the ability to think creatively in the development of ideas/solutions that will contribute value in a dynamic, client-centered environment.
- Ability to work well in a team, to shine as an individual and to maintain a sense of humor.
- High comfort level utilizing the internet for personal shopping, research, community, etc.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in something preferred.
- Direct and demonstrable experience in web development (please provide portfolio links in your submitted PDF resumé/cv).
- Bachelor's in CompSci a huge plus but not a requirement.
